After leaving St. Louis’ Metropolitan Police Department, he then went on to work for three years with the St. Louis County Police Department.
While Fowlkes was employed with the St. Louis Police department he became a team leader, which was a huge accomplishment for him. He then became certified to be a tactical rifle instructor. As an instructor, Fowlkes has been able to teach students the techniques of shoot house, SWAT tactics, and other defensive tactics as well.
